Naturally designed for health and wellness.

An active life beckons at Covenant Woods, a community established on more than 90 acres of protected land in Hanover County, in a setting designed to keep residents active both indoors and out.

Activity for all ages and abilities

“Active” is up to each person to define – for some, it may mean a morning walk or jog around the paved pond trail or beautiful nature trail, or water aerobics in the 80-foot indoor heated saltwater pool. You might enjoy gardening or fishing in the community pond, mountain biking in downtown Richmond, or woodworking and pottery at the on-site studio. Covenant Woods incorporates a wellness program for all residents, and employs a full-time recreational staff who maintain a monthly calendar loaded with fitness classes and activities that touch on the many dimensions of wellness: physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, and emotional.
