The aptly named Centerpointe – at the physical center of the community – is easily accessible to all Covenant Woods residents, and is home to the many fitness activities and amenities, including a fitness studio and gym, a spa, and library.

The symbol of Covenant Woods’ commitment to lifelong care is Manor East, a healthcare wing that has undergone a large-scale expansion in 2018 and 2019.

Water is a centerpiece of life at Covenant Woods, and the Pond is one of the community’s most notable features.

The original building when Covenant Woods relocated to Hanover County in 2001, the classically designed Manor is main entry point to the community.

Centrally located and only a short walk to the amenities of The Lodge and The Manor, Brookview’s single-family cottages are brand new as of 2018 and feature high ceilings, open floor plans, Craftsman-style architecture, and abundant storage.

Take up a new hobby or carry on your craft in the woodworking and pottery studio, located outdoors adjacent to The Manor. Equipped with the machinery and tools you’ll need to create form or function, the shop is also the site of various classes to learn new carving, building, or sculpting. Residents often take pottery classes and other art classes here, too.

With year-round color, the Williamsburg Garden provides a daily dose of joy to passersby and those residents who actively help maintain its plants, flowers, and herbs. Raised beds also allow for planting herbs without banging up one’s knees. A bell in the middle of the garden was a gift from a former resident.

One of Covenant Woods’ three single-family cottage neighborhoods, Woodview residents enjoy a centrally located private street only a short walk to the dining, entertainment, and amenities of The Lodge and The Manor.

If there’s a theme that stands out from the moment you arrive on campus, it’s “green.”

With bold design inspired by contemporary mountain architecture, The Lodge opened in 2014 and features a host of amenities, beautifully appointed apartments, and an atmosphere that’ll make you swear you’ve just stepped into an upscale ski chalet.

Cottages in Gardenview back up to Covenant Woods’ community garden, the source of ingredients that form many of the dishes and desserts at Vistas and Fireside restaurants.

Covenant Woods maintains an active Farm-to-Table program, sourcing seasonal fruits and vegetables - Hanover tomatoes, anyone? - from our community garden to use as fresh ingredients for two dining venues, Vistas and Fireside.

The Nature Trail is an unpaved, cleared trail that meanders through the forest and changes elevation, providing you with a more intensive hike. Residents have identified the many tree species in the woods, and placed QR code placards on the trunks for hikers to learn more using a smartphone. The trail is host to many native plants and will eventually connect to the paved Pond Trail. Bird houses and benches can be found throughout the trail routes.

Manor West is where many residents in independent living call home, featuring one and two-bedroom apartments with larger floor plans up to 1,300 square feet; all homes in Manor West include a porch or balcony.

The Link Sky Bridge connects Manor West with the Lodge. This means residents have complete access to all the services and amenities during inclement weather and never have to go outside.
